BANGALORE — Orione Seva officially inaugurated its renovated social work center, Don Sterpi Bhavan, in Karnataka. The facility underwent this revitalization to better serve the community with love, care, and compassion.
The inauguration ceremony commenced with collective prayers as priests blessed the renovated house and the newly installed statue of St. Luigi Orione, which stands as a symbol of protection and guidance at the entrance. Guided by the organization’s foundational motto, Let us do good to all, harm no one, the statue marks a new milestone for social development in the region.
Following the religious services, the official red ribbon was cut, declaring the center open to the public. Dozens of local residents, supporters, and young men proudly wearing the green shirts of Orione Seva attended the event. The ceremony concluded as enthusiastic local children immediately took to the playground in the garden, trying out the swings on the fresh green lawn.
According to representatives, the upgraded facility at Don Sterpi Bhavan will strengthen the organization's foundation to expand its charitable works, support vulnerable families, and foster community growth.
The renovated social center is located at Byrthi, Kothanur, Karnataka 560077, and is now fully operational to serve as a source of strength, relief, and hope for the community.
